From A Different Angle

What was your first job?

Good ol’ Mickey D’s! McDonalds taught me a lot and they were known for their training so it looked great on my resume as I ventured out into the world afterwards.

What is your superpower?

Helping people see they are capable of more than they think. As a result of getting sober in 2012, I set out on a mission to create a better life for myself. As a result, I was able to create the life I had always dreamed of. I have a gift for working with others and helping them see what’s possible for their future.

Favorite podcast and why?

I am loving Smartless these days. I started listening to podcasts for educational value, but since having my show, I now love to listen for a good laugh. The guys on Smartless have such a great dynamic together, and I often find myself laughing out loud, which is good for the soul.

Best advice you've ever gotten.

I tend to be a perfectionist, and in the past, it caused me to procrastinate, fearing that what I was doing wasn’t good enough. My mentor told me, “Just remember, your good is someone else’s great.”
